Lions Port Market

Over the years, the club has been involved in many and varied projects. Some of the more prominent projects include the establishment of the Lions Retirement Village, Crayfish spins, the Lions Charity Golf Day, a major contribution to the rebuild of main playground in Portarlington and of course the management of the market and the Lions market barbecue.

Over the years the club has made significant grants to community organisations and funded or contributed to the funding of important infrastructure projects on the North Bellarine. The club also allocates funds to National Lions programs including fire and flood relief and childhood cancer research.

A recent initiative of the club was the collection of more than 20 tonnes of tools from across Victoria for redistribution to those impacted by the recent devastating bush fires in Victoria and southern NSW.
