Lions Village Bellarine
Lions Village Bellarine is owned and operated by Bellarine Peninsula Elderly People’s Homes Inc, a not-for-profit charitable trust. It was founded under the aegis of the Portarlington/Drysdale Lions Club.
It currently has 23 self-contained, single bedroom units with plans ultimately to expand.
Units are configured in clusters of four, tastefully placed around the large treed site bounded by Hood Road and Gellibrand Street, Portarlington (see map).
Each unit is well-equipped and maintained and comes with a nominated carport space. Provision is made for a small front garden. Pets, other than guide or hearing dogs, are not allowed.
A voluntary Committee of Management is responsible for administering Lions Village Bellarine, taking advice from professionals as required.
