Our annual Portarlington Pink Ribbon Breakfast is on again and we are seeking sponsors that would like to join us to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research.
This year I have approached the Sunrise breakfast show (Sam Mac) to join us to help with recognition for our sponsors, because without you we wouldn’t be able to succeed.
We would like to thank the businesses that supported the event last year which raised $15,000. This money was donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), who are committed to funding a range of innovative research, one area of focus is research into metastatic breast cancer. Metastatic breast cancer (also known as advanced, secondary or stage IV breast cancer, refers to cancer that has spread beyond the breast to other parts of the body).
The Bellarine Women’s Network is incredibly pleased to announce that the Pink Ribbon Breakfast will once again be held at Claribeaux Restaurant, Curlewis Golf Club. on Friday 25th October 2024. Last year was an enormous success with 200 people in attendance.
The Community and beyond can support us with any of the following:
- vouchers $25 or more to be used in the mystery envelopes
- Items to be used in our Silent Auction or raffle
- If you would like to make a $ donation this can be done once our event has been approved on the Pink Ribbon breakfast website. We believe with your help we can make a difference which is what our community is known for.
